Hi! I'm Claire, and together with my fiancé JP, we're the couple behind The Sol Studio based in Winnipeg, MB.

My love for photography began when I was a teen. There's something special about capturing a single moment that can tell a whole story – the laughter, the love, the energy of a celebration. Over time, that passion turned into a dream to create something that brings that same joy to others.

The name "Sol", meaning sun, comes from where we grew up, the Philippines. If you didn't know, the Philippine flag features a sun symbol, and that's where the inspiration came from. The sun to us represents warms, hope, and new beginnings. It reminds me of home. The connection, comfort, and of the light that brings people together. The same feeling I want every guests to experience with our booth.

With JP's endless support – from building setups and testing lights to brainstorming late-night ideas, we turned this dream into reality. We started The Sol Studio out of our shared passion for photography, turning our love for creating moments into somethings that helps others celebrate theirs.

Every event we do feels personal. Whether it's a wedding, birthday, or corporate celebration, we pour care into every detail. From the premium backdrops and custom templates to lighting that gives each photo its glow.
